We correct a lot of this type of DIY work
A non builder did this.
At Harrison Building Services we encourage the fitting dry verge to the end of roof tiling just makes the whole roof look nicer and tidier.
By fixing these items to the roof, it will help solve any wind from getting under the tiles and pulling them off.
If this work is also combined with a dry ridge fixing there will not be any ridge tiles or end tiles blowing loose in the high winds.
Dry ridge tile fixing is a fairly new concept of fixing.
At Harrison Building Services we do not use cement fixing which can break down with frosts, unless instructed to do so by the customer.
However some people still like things done the old fashioned way, and as such we will still carry out cementing if the customer insists.
Harrison Building Services also carry out fascia replacements and over boarding, as well as fitting new guttering. The property in the pictures required the old cast iron guttering to be removed and a new plastic gutter fitted on to the new fascia boards. This all happened after the wasp nest was treated.
Chimney work.
We at Harrison Building Services carry out all types of chimney work from building new, to repointing and general rehaunching and capping off the top, in order to keep birds out or just to remove the pot.
Not looking too good
Ready to start.
This is just one of those nice jobs that saves the customer a lot of money replacing the shed/wendy house. If the roof felt is replaced as soon as it starts to leak, normally from old age, it can save the roof from rotting and creating even more expense.
Temporary covers

stop the rain getting in.
